Top exhibition provides perfect stage set for RICC film launch

A brand new short film created to highlight the benefits of holding a conference at the Riviera International Conference Centre (RICC) will be launched next month at International Confex 2011.
International Confex 2011, held at Earls Court, London, provides the perfect springboard from which to unveil this exciting new initiative promoting the RICC.

The mini documentary encapsulates, through short sound bites from staff members, the very special service qualities delivered by teams at the RICC. In addition, the film captures third party endorsements by Delegates and the Conference Organiser during a conference and a banquet.

Barry Cole, Managing Director, RICC, said:
"What better way to tell people how good we are than by showing the RICC in action, reinforced by comments from staff and delegates".

"We are delighted with the film which we are confident provides us with a really powerful promotional vehicle".

Blanchard Media ltd was recruited to create the film for the RICC.

Jane Blanchard of Blanchard Media said:
"It was honestly a complete pleasure to make the film. We were bowled over by the professionalism, enthusiasm and sheer 'can do' attitude that everyone demonstrated, and this really comes across in the film".

The National Association of Retired Police Officers kindly gave permission for the film to be made during their annual convention at the RICC in September. Also included are snapshots of Torquay, filmed in May 2010 showing the town off at its very best. Local celebrity, Judi Spiers (BBC Radio Devon presenter) provides commentary throughout, counting down 10 good reasons why you should choose Torquay for your next conference.

The film will run on large plasma screens on the Visit Devon stand throughout the duration of the exhibition, on which the RICC and Conference Torquay are participating. In addition the film can be viewed at and
